Points are totaled and rounded up to the nearest 10th. Max score is 70. Total is your base score.

Calculate total fans made in your hand.
1 Yaku = 1 Fan and 1 Dora = 1 Fan.
Two fans also given for winning.

Base score is doubled for each fan. Total is your hand score.

Multiply hand score by:

- 6 if you were dealer.
- 4 if you were non-dealer.

Total score is rounded up to nearest 100th. This is your final score.

Bonus points may be given as well. 1000 pts may be given for each Reach Stick on table. 300 pts may be given for each 100 pt stick on table. Each 100 pt stick represents each round dealer remains dealer.

This scoring scheme only applies when your hand is worth 5 fans or less, neglecting the 2 fans for winning.

To find score from the charts, locate base score and total fans. For fans, do not include the 2 fans for winning.

The limit, which is highlighted in gray, for each table is known as Mangan [満貫]. This is the initial scoring limit.

When you get over 5 fans, then your base score is no longer calculated, only the amount of fans you have is of concerned:

Haneman [跳満 or ハネ満] (6-7 Fans): Final Score is 1.5x Mangan.
Baiman [倍満] (8-10 Fans): Final Score is 2x Mangan.
Sanbaiman [倍満] (11-12 Fans): Final Score is 3x Mangan.

When you reach 13 fans or more, then you have obtained Yakuman. Getting certain tile combinations or hands can automatically give you Yakuman as well:

Yakuman [役満] (13-25 Fans): Final Score is 4x Mangan.
Double Yakuman [ダブル役満] (26-38 Fans): Final Score is 2x Yakuman.
Triple Yakuman... and so forth.
